La grange de Masbourg

We transformed the barn of an old house into a cozy vacation home that we love to share with others. We consider it our home, and it is comfortably furnished with items that are dear to us. It is moderately spacious with sleeping accommodations for two to three people. There is a kitchen, living room with a wood-burning stove, bathroom, garden, and a single sleeping area (two double beds and a crib). The house has been fully insulated and stays pleasantly warm thanks to floor heating.

The cottage is located in the Belgian Ardennes, an hour and a half drive from Brussels and a 4 km walk from a train station. Despite its central location, right under the church tower of Masbourg, it is still very quiet. It is a hub for walks in the region, from a dozen marked local walks to the more ambitious ‘Transardennaise’ and ‘Tour de Luxembourg’.

The village is located right next to the Mochamps moorland nature reserve, and Fourneau Saint-Michel (a historical open-air museum) is also well worth a visit.

Thanks to the architectural insights of Lucas D’haen and Johan D’haen, the barn of an old house with a lot of history was renovated.
